INTERACT at ICRI 2024

INTERACT was presented at ICRI 2024 (International Conference on Research Infrastructures) on 3-5 December 2024, in Brisbane, Australia.

Niklas Labba (INTERACT Board Member) was invited to participate to the panel “Developing research infrastructure partnerships with local and Indigenous communities” to discuss cooperation between Indigenous communities and research infrastructures. Niklas presented how Sámi reindeer herders and researchers have collaborated to monitor and develop new knowledge about the impacts of climate change in INTERACT, and its work within INTERACT to develop guidelines for sustainable tourism in Sápmi.
