New Board of INTERACT Directors elected

INTERACT Non Profit Association held their fifth General Assembly of INTERACT Non Profit Association online over two days earlier in April. A central outcome was the election of the INTERACT Board for 2026/27. Following member voting, here are the members of the newly elected Board:

  • Margareta Johansson 

  • Leena Leppänen 

  • Frederik Paulsen 

  • Katrine Randrup 

  • Hannele Savela 

  • Niklas Labba 

  • Morten Rasch 

  • Terry Callaghan (Honorary president) 

Updates were shared on major activities and projects, including POLARIN, AQUARIUS, Arctic PASSION, and related initiatives, alongside ongoing work across INTERACT’s action groups.

Discussions on the second day focused on the future direction of INTERACT, with emphasis on strengthening membership, expanding fundraising efforts, and building international collaborations. Interactive sessions explored how to better leverage the network to secure funding and deliver impact.

The Assembly concluded with agreement on key priorities feeding into the 2026/27 budget and workplan, reinforcing INTERACT’s commitment to collaboration and long-term sustainability.
